“Keep Up the Passion!”

Whilst not wishing to blow our own trumpet too vigorously, we do regularly receive praise from our many delighted customers. Here’s one we received today which I feel compelled to share:

Yes, we enjoyed ourselves very much! We had a very enthusiastic and caring tour-guide – Ms. Mai. Her ability to speak our languages – from English to Chinese dialects also made us feel so much at ease. She connected very well with my parents and family.

I must also commend on the transport that was arranged for us – we had a comfortable journey; the mini-van was clean and well air-conditioned, and the driver was always with a smile.

I’m also very happy with your service. Your team was very thorough and friendly in planning the tour itinerary for me. I was blessed with Truc My’s service in planning out most of my itinerary. I appreciate her passion and patience in going through all the details of the trip with me.

All-in-all, I’m very happy with your service and the tour. I’ve not met any other tour providers that cater for bespoke tours. In fact, that was what caught my attention when I first surfed online for a tour-guide.

Thank you very much for a memorable trip in Saigon! Please keep up the passion! It’s infectious!

The above email sums up what we do at Come & Go Vietnam - quality tailormade tours with great service and friendly guides/drivers, put together by people with a real passion & enthusiasm for what they do. No further commentary needed!

VietJet Air Asia - My Wish List

VietJet Air Asia will start flying in August, reports today’s Vietnam News. Great news for Vietnam-based travellers, but as yet no routes have been revealed. Here’s my wish list…

airasia1

HCMC-Vientiane

Currently, anyone wanting to fly from HCMC to Vientiane has to travel via Phnom Penh, and pay an outrageous $400+ for a return ticket. This explains why so few HCMC-based expats ever visit Laos, despite  its proximity! A cheaper, direct route would be a real boost to Lao tourism and give us expats an alternative weekend break to Bangkok or Phnom Penh.

HCMC-Phnom Penh/Siem Reap

Return fares on these routes with Vietnam Airlines currently cost over $300 - a shocking price for such short flights (Phnom Penh is a 35-minute flight). Halving that cost would boost regional tourism and make two-country tours a lot more affordable, thus benefitting both countries.

HCMC-Koh Samui/Chiang Mai

Missing out transfers in Bangkok would make weekend breaks in Samui and Chiang Mai a reality.

Danang-Hong Kong/Singapore

A few flights already operate on these routes but more regular, cheaper flights would boost tourism to central Vietnam, and also open up beach/golf break markets for expats in HK & Singapore - a potentially huge but currently untapped market, partly because of flight prices, partly due to Vietnam’s visa on arrival policy, or lack thereof.

Where would you like to see VietJet Air Asia fly to?
