There are lots of licensed tour operators in Vietnam – why should I book with Come & Go?

Because we’re great! Seriously, there are many reasons for booking with us but we’d say the main ones are:

Knowledge – we know Vietnam inside out. Tim has lived in Vietnam for nearly 7 years and knows what products and destinations go down well with overseas visitors, while Nhung is a native of the Mekong Delta and worked as a tour guide all over Vietnam for over a decade.

Honesty – unlike some of our competitors, honesty and ethics are important to us. We make sure all our customers get value for money and that all our transactions are win-win deals. We won’t sell you a product if we don’t think it’s the right product for you.

Understanding – as a joint British-Vietnamese company, we not only understand the needs of foreign visitors to Vietnam from personal experience, we also understand how to get the best deals and service out of our local suppliers and partners.

Creativity – most tour operators in Vietnam sell the same product. No idea why this is – maybe it’s easier just to copy a successful product than to risk launching a new one, or maybe they’re just lazy. Whilst we do offer the tried & trusted Vietnam destinations, we prefer to branch out and research new tour products. It’s more fun for us, and more fun for our customers.

Why don’t you have hundreds of itineraries on your website like other Vietnamese travel companies?

Because we don’t expect you to trawl through pages & pages of programmes to find the right one for you. Most of our tours are tailormade – we don’t shoehorn our customers onto itineraries just because we’re too lazy to cost up a bespoke programme. Instead, we find out what our customers really want, and put together tours for them accordingly. One recent customer sent her requirements to half a dozen different companies – five of them tried to force her onto one of their off-the-shelf itineraries, and only one took the time to put together her chosen itinerary. That one was Come & Go Vietnam. We got the business – over $7,000 of it.

Also, many of our tours are unique or exclusive to us, and we don’t want to put them where our competitors can find them and copy them…

Do you only sell Vietnam?

No. We have great inbound partners in Cambodia, Thailand and Laos, so we can sell great product in all those countries.

Do you just do inbound travel?

No. Inbound into Vietnam probably accounts for around 70% of our business – the rest is outbound or domestic, most of it for Vietnam’s large and growing expat community. As an expat-run company, we understand the levels of service that expats demand and we meet them every time.

What are your favourite places in Vietnam?

Tim likes relaxing on the beach in Phu Quoc or cycling around Mai Chau valley; Nhung likes the ancient streets of Hoi An and her home province of Ben Tre.
